Role Summary
• A research associate at the Council on Foreign Relations, the leading foreign policy membership organisation and think tank, supporting the senior fellow who directs its program on energy security and climate change. A research associate is a senior scholar's assistant: researching and fact-checking for books, articles and testimony, and helping run the program's meetings and administration.
Responsibilities
• Assist with research, editing, and fact-checking for a book and reports on energy and climate.
• Coordinate events and study groups, preparing invitations and background materials.
• Provide administrative support, including travel itineraries, scheduling, and correspondence.
• Assist with social media, website, and podcast outreach.
Required Knowledge & Experience
• Degree: BA/BS in an area related to energy and climate economics, innovation or geopolitics; master's degree preferred but not required.
• Experience: At least one year of related administrative or internship experience, including writing or producing content for podcasts and social media.
Work & Eligibility
• Onsite four days per week.
