Fall 2027 Litigation Fellow

Role Summary • A two-year legal fellowship with NRDC's Litigation Team, working on active environmental cases across local, state, federal, and international levels. Responsibilities • Conduct legal research, factual investigations, and draft briefs, motions, and memoranda. • Collaborate with program staff, clients, and partners to support litigation goals. • Support senior attorneys and lead case matters under supervision. • Assist with legal intern hiring, supervision, and CLE presentations. Required Knowledge & Experience • Degree: J.D. (graduation years 2024 through 2027). • Bar: Admitted to practice or willing to gain admission during the first fellowship year. Work & Eligibility • Two-year fellowship term from Fall 2027 to Fall 2029. • Requires 8 days per month in-office and up to 10% travel.
