Fall 2026 Research Intern, South and Central Asia

Role Summary • A fall 2026 research internship in the South and Central Asia department of the Hudson Institute, a Washington think tank on security and foreign policy. The intern helps scholars research the region's economic development and security, and India's relationships with the US, Pakistan and China. Responsibilities • Perform archival research to support book projects, op-eds, and policy reports. • Track regional current events and keep research teams informed. • Draft briefing memos, articles, and analysis. • Support administrative tasks and event execution. Required Knowledge & Experience • Field of Study: Political science, international relations, South/Central Asian studies, or related fields. • Demonstrated interest in South and Central Asian affairs.
