Role Summary
• The NSA's paid cooperative education program in Maryland for language students. The NSA is the US agency for signals intelligence and cybersecurity; co-op students alternate semesters of study with paid work at the agency, using their foreign language skills on intelligence and cybersecurity missions.
Responsibilities
• Collect, analyze, and produce foreign signals intelligence from targeted language material.
• Support cybersecurity guidance and foreign language intelligence tasks.
Required Knowledge & Experience
• Major: Pursuing a degree in Chinese or Farsi.
• Class Standing: Second-semester freshman or sophomore.
• GPA: 3.0 or higher preferred.
Work & Eligibility
• Clearance: U.S. citizenship required; must qualify for TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Processing: Must be available for interviews and screening from November 2026 to March 2027.
