Role Summary
• Covers breaking news and emerging developments across business, technology, markets, artificial intelligence, and personal finance for the Post's Futures department.
Responsibilities
• Produce fast, accurate, and authoritative reporting on breaking business and technology news.
• Identify consequential trends early and translate complex economic and tech concepts into clear explanatory coverage.
• Collaborate with visual journalists, editors, and fellow reporters to experiment with digital storytelling formats.
Required Knowledge & Experience
• Experience: Track record of producing news reporting in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
• Skills: Strong reporting, source-building, interviewing, and explanatory writing abilities.
