Fall 2026 Communications Intern, Education and Work

Role Summary • Assist New America's Education & Work team in developing communications strategies, social media, and newsletters to raise the program's public profile. Responsibilities • Create and track media lists in Meltwater and compile stakeholder lists for product launches. • Draft and schedule content for Bluesky and LinkedIn accounts. • Draft and build the weekly Education & Work Update newsletter. • Provide analytics support for donor reports and update website landing pages. Required Knowledge & Experience • Background: Interest or experience in journalism, PR, marketing, or education/workforce policy. • Skills: Narrative writing, social media management, HTML, and publishing applications; Canva is preferred.
