Role Summary • Interns assist D.C. staff with legislative and administrative functions in the House office of Representative Pramila Jayapal. Responsibilities • Answer phone calls and draft responses to constituent correspondence. • Attend congressional briefings and hearings on behalf of staff. • Perform legislative research and assist staff members with administrative projects. Required Knowledge & Experience • Commitment to public service and progressive values. • State or district ties are a plus but not required.
