Student Intern

Role Summary • The CIA's student internship program. Interns work alongside experts in their field — analysis, operations, technology or support — learning the world of intelligence; successful interns may be offered a full-time job after graduating. Responsibilities • Collaborate with intelligence professionals on real-world projects and agency mission priorities. • Support team administrative, analytical, or operational tasks within agency components. • Participate in specialized training and gain direct insight into intelligence career pathways. Required Knowledge & Experience • Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required. • Clearance: Must pass background investigation and meet agency security requirements. • Education: Must be enrolled full-time in an academic program before and after the internship. • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; interest in foreign languages or cultures preferred.
