Winter 2027 Strategy and Research Intern, Corporate Sectors

Role Summary • A paid winter 2027 internship for graduate students with IDB Invest, the private-sector arm of the Inter-American Development Bank, which finances development in Latin America and the Caribbean. The intern researches markets and sectors — agribusiness, manufacturing, digital infrastructure — to inform the bank's investment strategy. Responsibilities • Perform sector research, company benchmarking, and risk and opportunity analysis. • Prepare sector pitchbooks, presentation materials, and analytical inputs for strategic planning. • Assist with coordination and materials for internal meetings and sector initiatives. Required Knowledge & Experience • Degree: Active graduate student in data science, computer science, industrial engineering, or a related field. • Technical: Experience with large datasets, Advanced Excel, SQL, and Power BI or Tableau preferred. • Languages: Knowledge of Spanish, French, or Portuguese preferred. Work & Eligibility • Dates: January 16 to March 15, 2027 (40 hours/week). • Eligibility: Must be a first-time IDB Group intern and have completed 50% of coursework.
