Spring 2027 Development & Outreach Intern

Role Summary • Part-time internship supporting fundraising, event planning, and outreach for Human Rights Watch in Sydney. Responsibilities • Maintain databases and assist with planning fundraising and outreach events. • Help cultivate donor, foundation, and corporate relationships in Sydney and Melbourne. • Attend staff meetings, public briefings, and networking events. Required Knowledge & Experience • Demonstrated interest in international human rights required. • Experience with fundraising, event planning, media, or Salesforce is desirable. Work & Eligibility • Mid-February to late April 2027, up to 20 hours/week (in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays). • Must be a currently enrolled student with valid Australian work authorization.
