Summer 2027 Policy & Government Relations Intern

Role Summary • Research and report on federal and state legislative and policy issues for Deloitte's Policy & Government Relations team, creating written briefs and memos for leadership. Responsibilities • Track state and federal legislation across public policy areas such as AI, technology, energy, and financial services. • Draft policy briefs, presentations, and fact sheets for internal stakeholders and client account teams. • Attend congressional hearings, policy briefings, and think tank panels to brief the team. Required Knowledge & Experience • Degree: Undergraduate student majoring in political science, government, public policy, public administration, or a related field (2028 expected graduation). • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Work & Eligibility • Dates & Travel: June to August 2027; requires up to 1-2 weeks of travel. • Eligibility: U.S. work authorization required without sponsorship; must be 18+.
