Role Summary • A full-time political associate on the reelection campaign of Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona, based in Washington or Arizona. On a campaign, the political team builds support among elected officials, groups and community leaders; the associate helps with that outreach, researches the political landscape, and supports campaign events and programs. Responsibilities • Maintain tracking and communication systems for political relationships, endorsements, and stakeholders. • Draft briefing materials and prepare candidate schedule documentation for events and meetings. • Staff campaign events and coordinate with surrogates, validators, and political partners. • Conduct political research on candidates, organizations, and key constituencies while monitoring relevant news. Required Knowledge & Experience • Experience: Previous campaign experience preferred but not required. • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Work & Eligibility • Transport: Reliable transportation required. • Travel: May require travel throughout Arizona. • Schedule: Requires evening and weekend hours based on campaign needs. • Bargaining Unit: Union-represented position.
