Role Summary
• A two-year paid congressional fellowship, the Green & Gold program, open only to veterans, Gold Star family members and spouses of active-duty service members. Fellows work as staff in a member of Congress's office or for a House officer, taking on the office's legislative and constituent work as part of the team.
Responsibilities
• Support daily legislative, administrative, and constituent operations as part of a congressional office team.
• Draft communications, manage projects under deadlines, and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
Required Knowledge & Experience
• High School Diploma required.
Work & Eligibility
• Program Length: Two-year commitment.
• Eligibility: Restricted to Veterans, Gold Star family members, and active-duty military spouses.
