2027 Intern, Community Development

Role Summary • Internship with the Community Development department conducting research on affordable housing, workforce development, access to credit, and economic issues affecting low- and moderate-income communities. Responsibilities • Contribute to quantitative and qualitative research projects on economic development programs and policies. • Gather, analyze, and manipulate datasets using STATA, R, Python, and Excel. • Assist in preparing online and written publications, briefs, and outreach events. Required Knowledge & Experience • Degree: Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's in economics, public policy, public administration, urban studies, or related field with at least one semester remaining. • GPA: Minimum 3.0 required. • Skills: Dataset collection and analysis required (Excel required; STATA, R, Python, GIS preferred). • Citizenship: U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder.
