Role Summary
• A fall 2026 research internship at the Hudson Institute, a Washington think tank on security and foreign policy, on human rights and security in Asia. The intern supports research on human rights violations in China, North Korea and Southeast Asia — including the treatment of the Uyghurs — and helps the program's scholars with administration.
Responsibilities
• Conduct substantive research and editing for reports, articles, op-eds, and briefing papers.
• Assist scholars with research projects, presentations, and monitoring current events.
• Support administrative tasks and assist with public and intern events.
Required Knowledge & Experience
• Degree: Current student or recent graduate in political science, international relations, human rights, security studies, history, or related fields.
• Demonstrated interest in human rights and Asian politics.
• Strong research, writing, editing, and analysis skills.
Work & Eligibility
• August 24 to December 4, 2026.
• Minimum 15–20 hours per week.
• Onsite preferred; limited capacity for remote or hybrid work.
