Associate Examiner Intern

Role Summary • A paid summer internship, through the federal Pathways program, training to be a bank examiner at the Farm Credit Administration — the independent agency that regulates the banks lending to farmers and rural America. Examiners evaluate those institutions' finances, lending, management and compliance to judge whether they are safe and sound. Responsibilities • Help assess financial condition, risk management, IT operations, and regulatory compliance of Farm Credit System institutions. • Assist senior bank examiners in preparing examination documentation and regulatory findings. Required Knowledge & Experience • Education: Current undergraduate junior, senior, or graduate student enrolled at least half-time. • GPA: Minimum 2.95 cumulative GPA. Work & Eligibility • Requires full-time work during summer break and occasional weekday travel. • Planned graduation date between August 2027 and June 2028.
