Video Producer Fellow

Role Summary • A paid entry-level fellowship on the video team of Semafor, the global news outlet founded by former Bloomberg and BuzzFeed News leaders. The fellow helps produce and publish its video shows across its coverage — geopolitics, politics, technology, climate and business — and handles the team's administrative work. Responsibilities • Produce, edit, and publish social videos, collaborating with reporters to adapt news stories into scripts. • Provide research, administrative, and logistical support across video production workflows. • Assist during live events to capture and publish newsmaking interview clips. Required Knowledge & Experience • Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. • Knowledge: Strong interest in world events, business journalism, and video platforms.
