Role Summary • Internship supporting legislative, communications, and administrative work in the Washington, DC office of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Responsibilities • Research legislation and attend congressional briefings and hearings. • Assist staff with public events and constituent casework. • Answer phones, sort mail, and perform administrative duties. • Option to specialize in legislative or communications assignments. Work & Eligibility • Winter Special Session runs December to March. • Available on either a full-time or part-time basis. • Paid House positions require US citizenship unless externally funded.
