Summer 2027 Law Student Intern

Role Summary • Assist attorneys with impact litigation and public policy advocacy to defend the civil rights of LGBTQ+ individuals and people living with HIV. Responsibilities • Conduct legal and legislative research, case investigations, and drafting for active cases, prospective litigation, and amicus briefs. • Research, draft, and edit public education publications. • Support the maintenance and expansion of resources for the national legal Help Desk. Required Knowledge & Experience • Background or familiarity with issues affecting LGBTQ+ communities and people living with HIV preferred. • Demonstrated commitment to public interest law preferred. Work & Eligibility • Summer funding is provided or supplemented if institutional funding from law school is unavailable.
