Role Summary
• Full-time 24-month research associate position supporting economists focusing on Labor and Industrial Organization research using Census restricted data.
Responsibilities
• Analyze large panel datasets and write computer code to solve dynamic economic models.
• Conduct literature reviews and assist with model derivations.
• Interact regularly onsite with economists at the Census RDC in Washington, DC, and attend team engagements in Richmond.
Required Knowledge & Experience
• Degree: Bachelor's degree with GPA 3.5 or higher.
• Coursework: Econometrics, Calculus I & II required; advanced math highly valued.
• Skills: Programming in Python, Stata, or R preferred.
• Clearance: U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident status (3+ years) required.
Work & Eligibility
