Role Summary
• An internship with the government law and policy team of Greenberg Traurig, a large national law and lobbying firm. The intern supports several team members — researching and tracking legislation, helping with advocacy work, and providing the practical help a busy government affairs practice needs.
Responsibilities
• Conduct research on legislative issues, bills, and policy proposals.
• Track legislation, committee hearings, and activities to produce updates, summaries, and memos.
• Assist in developing and implementing advocacy strategies.
• Organize client-focused events, meetings, and fundraisers.
• Perform administrative tasks, schedule meetings, and draft communications.
Required Knowledge & Experience
• Degree: Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Tools: Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook required; basic understanding of AI tools preferred.
Work & Eligibility
• Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM with flexibility for overtime as needed.
