Role Summary
• A development role at the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Party's national organisation, in its Leadership Circle program for donors giving $1,000 or more a year. Development means fundraising: the role finds and cultivates new donors, makes calls, keeps donor records, and supports the development lead in growing the program.
Responsibilities
• Conduct donor research and perform approximately seven hours of cold calls per week.
• Draft donor correspondence, newsletter content, talking points, call sheets, and briefings.
• Maintain donor records in NGP VAN and process gift acknowledgments.
• Support virtual fundraisers, ActBlue donor tracking, and digital influencer engagement.
Required Knowledge & Experience
• Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace and ability to learn NGP.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of the political fundraising landscape.
• Preferred: Experience with ActBlue, donor databases, tele-fundraising, or campaign finance rules.
Work & Eligibility
