Role Summary • A program associate at the Climate Center of Schmidt Sciences, the science philanthropy founded by Eric Schmidt, which funds networks of international research teams studying how the climate is changing. The associate keeps those projects running: coordinating the teams in its carbon cycle research portfolio and international initiatives, tracking progress, and supporting the Center's day-to-day operations. Responsibilities • Support the Virtual Institute of the Carbon Cycle, assisting with project management, progress measurement, and stakeholder coordination. • Serve as a liaison for the Carbon Research Frontier Network to connect research hubs in India with global programs. • Conduct review and diligence of research proposals and evaluate projects throughout their grant lifecycle. • Organize convenings, workshops, and collaborative opportunities for awardees and global partners.
