Summer 2027 Legal Intern, Civic Engagement & Voter Protection

Role Summary • Legal interns in the Democratic National Committee's Civic Engagement and Voter Protection Department support national efforts to expand voting access, combat voter suppression, and analyze election laws. Responsibilities • Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda on voting rights and election administration. • Help manage the year-round Voter Assistance Hotline and support volunteer efforts. • Create voter education materials, trainings, and advocacy resources. Required Knowledge & Experience • Education: Enrolled law student who will complete at least one year of law school before start, or recent law graduate. Work & Eligibility • May 31 to August 6, 2027, working 20 hours per week. • Must be at least 18 years old and physically located in the United States.
