Briefing Coordinator, Live Journalism

Role Summary • Support Semafor's flagship live journalism events by developing briefing materials, background research, and logistical information for journalists and VIP speakers. Responsibilities • Draft, format, and distribute briefing packets for VIP speakers, moderators, and attendees. • Research key talking points and gather speaker and attendee biographies. • Compile and synthesize complex event logistics. • Support the events team in preparation for major convenings. Required Knowledge & Experience • Experience in journalism, communications, Capitol Hill, or executive assistance. • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace.
