Spring 2027 Legislative Intern

Role Summary • A Spring 2027 legislative internship supporting the Washington, DC office of Rep. Joaquin Castro with policy research and office operations. Responsibilities • Answer constituent phone calls and draft responses to constituent letters. • Research legislation and attend House committee hearings and briefings. • Assist congressional staff with daily administrative tasks. Required Knowledge & Experience • Skills: strong writing abilities and professional phone etiquette. • Interest in public policy. Work & Eligibility • Open to college students and recent graduates. • Hours are flexible between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to accommodate class schedules.
