Summer 2027 Intern, Economic Research

Role Summary • Full-time summer economic research internship assisting Dallas Fed economists with academic research and policy analysis supporting FOMC briefings. Responsibilities • Collect, compile, and analyze statistical and econometric data. • Construct data files, charts, and graphics. • Replicate previous research and solve theoretical macroeconomic models. Required Knowledge & Experience • Completion of junior year with coursework in economics, statistics, econometrics, math, or computer science. • GPA of 3.5 or higher. • Basic programming skills in STATA, R, Python, or Matlab. • Past research experience with a professor or research organization. • Clearance: U.S. citizenship, national status, or permanent residency required for FOMC data access.
