Role Summary
• A fall 2026 research internship in the Political-Military Analysis department at the Hudson Institute, a Washington think tank on security and foreign policy. The team studies how the relationship between Russia and China affects US security; the intern supports its research and administration and spends time discussing the work with its experts.
Responsibilities
• Conduct open-source research and assist with literature reviews, reports, articles, op-eds, and briefing memos.
• Monitor current events and keep team members updated.
• Assist with presentations, administrative tasks, and event support.
Required Knowledge & Experience
• Field of study: Political science, international relations, economics, security studies, or related fields.
• Demonstrated interest in military operations, strategy, and Russia-China relations.
• Languages: Especially interested in candidates with Russian language capabilities.
Work & Eligibility
• Dates: August 24 to December 4, 2026.
• Remote or hybrid work is desired for this position.
