These terms govern your use of Capitol Vectors. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Who can use Capitol Vectors
During our campus launch, accounts are limited to verified Georgetown students with a valid @georgetown.edu email. You must be old enough to form a binding agreement to use the service.
Your account
Keep your login credentials secure and don't share your account. You're responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information, and don't impersonate anyone.
Acceptable use
Capitol Vectors is a non-partisan, professional community. Don't post harassing, hateful, illegal, or deliberately misleading content; don't spam, scrape, or disrupt the service; and don't misuse other members' information.
Your content and the data you share
You keep ownership of what you post and submit. By posting content or submitting data — forum posts, Intelligence contributions, and the applications you track — you grant Capitol Vectors a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and use that content to operate and improve the service.
That license includes the right to use your data in anonymized and aggregated form for research, benchmarks, and product features, and to review tracked applications in anonymized form to surface job and internship ideas. Identifying details are removed before data is used this way, though no anonymization is guaranteed to be perfect.
Moderation
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms or harm the community, at our discretion.
Crowdsourced information
Job listings, salary and culture data points, guides, and other content are provided for general information and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They aren't career, financial, or legal advice — verify anything you rely on.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Capitol Vectors isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it.
Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated.
Changes and contact
